The demo is pretty good but I have some issues with it. First of all it definitely plays too slow for my liking. Yeah I know you can up the game speed when the final version comes out but default online will be the default settings. Second of all the playcalling screens are difficult to read because the icons for the players obscure routes. Anothr thing is on deflected balls the DB and WR's at times have no awareness the ball is around them and make no attempt to go after it. Not all the time but sometimes. I also don't like the super human spin moves i've seen the computer do. One time I saw Ahman Green break like 8 tackles using the spin move and take off to the races, pretty arcadey IMO. Another thing that is annoying is that the B button, which is the button on the right on XBOX, does not call the play on the right on the screen but instead goes back a screen (WTF were they thinking with that design I'll never know). This in itself is a minor annoyance but since it's such a basic screwup in design makes me wonder how many other basics Sega will screw up in the rest of the game. However overall it's a pretty good demo I think.
I doubt I will like it as much as Madden because the off field stuff for ESPN's has never been near as good as EA's. For me that is the biggest issue.
Off the field stuff like what? Just curious.
Stat bugs, weird player progression, unrealistic trade logic/roster management, weird CPU draft moves, etc.....Gameplay is hot IMO but these issues hopefully are fixed
