But I think they try to make them a little real. Like I don't think they'll show a highlight of a QB throwing a TD if he didn't actually throw a TD during the game.

Agreed. I think that the players involved actually did score in the game, just maybe not exactly the same as shown.

Yeah the highlights are predetermined and the teams playing and weather are changed. I don't see any better highlights being done until the next generation of consoles. One thing I think would be nice (and could be done on the Xbox right now) is if the game took replays you saved (Xbox version of course) and used them for the Primetime show. It would also be nice if you saved all the scoring replays and they use them for the post game or weekly wrap-up shows.

I was just wondering: will they have like a team that played 2nd that week be on the highlights? Because last year it was always of the last 2 teams that they wrapped up the score of in the highlight.

Sure. They show highlights from multiple games on Primetime.
