It just seems impossible that the (2k) ESPN series will ever out sell Madden. But if one day it does happen, it will be a great, great day.

Like that Hoku song... only she says perfect day.

I have a big feeling we will pass Madden sometime in the next 3 years... I just believe that we will because people will realize that this is factually the better game.

i think they would have outsold Madden this year if they released the same day as Madden.

I understand that, but how many people are going to see it that way? They see ESPN NFL Football, ESPN is advertising Madden to be #1. Public is going to go... hey even ESPN thinks Madden is #1 (yes I know it's only an ad, however it says click here to see why Madden is #1). Madden will be purchased instead of doing their research at OS.

End of story. Or maybe they need to raise the ad money to fund Sega/VC for the lawyers for beta-7.

Do you guys think that Sega/VC is a little ticked at ESPN for accepting that ad?
