I just checked out WSB 2k3 on my TV for the first time with my componnet cables and it looked great. However, my tv supports 480p and 1080i like I said before. When I put 480p on it looked great, when I took of 480 and 1080 and put on 720 I got a black screen. Is there anyway I can get my tv to support 720 or upconverto the 720 signal to 1080i?

Thanks guys for the help, I want my ESPN to look as amzing as possible.

I got the same 480p/1080i as you. I'm wondering also about the upconvert. I see in your setting you took off 480p and 1080i and turned 720p on. Try to just turn off 480p and leave 1080i and 720p on so it can upconvert to 1080i cuz since you turned off 1080i how can it display if it's turned off. Try it and post if it works.

Just checked and it didn't work. I took off 480p and put on 1080i and 720p and when it left the xbox dashboard I got a black screen.

Hey I don't want to turn this into a WSB 2K3 thread, but can someone with 720p, WSB 2K3, and something to post a pic on here post a pic of WSB 2K3 in 720p mode?

hey sportsmonger do you know of any site that has reviews from buyers? im currently shopping for one after all this talk of 720 i buckled down and decided to get one.......nice link btw its a pretty good price as well but i need more user input....

sorry about that, i just posted that before the 15 hour trip home from florida to PA

anyway, thanks for the help...from what i hear from you guys, 720p kills anything else and by the way, do you need one of the AV packs for the xbox to make it look that much better or does it look a lot better regardless
