someone at nfl2kx posted this take it as you will: Well brah's, I just got a call from EB telling me I can pick my copy up of 2k4 @ 11:00 a.m. Since I'm at work, I won't have it until after 6. But at least I will get it today. So check your EB's in your area, it seems they are getting it first. Peace.

So I guess its going to be a hit and miss type of thing.By the way the poster was from Chicago.

Yeah, its a shame on us for funding a multi-billion dollar industry. Commercials for ESPN say the 2nd. It's not a big deal for me to wait, hell, I'll only call EB tonight before closing to see if they got it, but gamers are passionate. So what. People wait in lines and pay for tickets in advance to see the biggest blockbusters, this is no different.

Major concert tickets go on sale, and no one flinches when people camp out for tickets.

The new "Harry Potter" book is released, and lines of purchasers wrap around book stores at midnight. But no one winces at that.

Yet people who are eager for a videogame are freaks? Hmm ... maybe those people gain more pleasure from a game than a concert or book.

I'm not chomping at the proverbial bit today, but I will call my EB once tonight just to check and see if the game arrived early. And I'll definitely be at the store tomorrow to purchase the game.

If that makes me a freak, then so be it.

I just got the store copy although I already had the review copy. FedEX just pulled up with it. Mine was sent from VC though. Time to get on Xbox live and beat the hell out of someone LOL.

I just went to a local EB. They sais game will be in tomorrow but their NYC stores have it today.

Please post comments if someone is lucky enough to get today!
