How will ESPN be improved from the overrated 2K3?

I thought the game played way too "LOOSE" and the receivers dropping balls after getting easily smacked by pass defenders got pretty boring. Will the gameplay be improved? Will pass defenders still leap up in the air 15 yards from the ball?

Re: How will ESPN be improved from the overrated 2K3?

I too was disappointed in 2K3 and am HOPING that ESPN is twice the game that 2k3 was.

The player movement was also too stiff for me and made me feel like I was playing electric football.

I wonder if it feels better....it looks like it has a little more lean into the running animations and LBz has said that it looks and plays well, but I can't wait to find out on Wed.

The drops and lack of user sacks just killed the realism....but it sure looks and sounds like that has been fixed.

Also, have the lighting and graphics really improved at all?
Do they look more 3d or still a little flat?

They seem to look a little more crisp and have better shading which adds to the depth but it's hard to say how it will look on my Xbox with component feeds compared to Steve running in high def.

It's real hard to judge from the vids.

I know...I am graphics whore on top of liking my realism....so sue me.

I'm not confident of any great improvement in the "feel" of the game because I've had all the 2K games dating to the original 1999 Dreamcast edition, and they've all felt and played pretty much the same. They have improved the pass D AI considerably, but they need to tighten this sucker up.

Probably what I'll do unless I hear some resounding endorsments from this board.
