I guess I am going to dust off my PS2 so I can play online with leagues. I hate to do it because I love my XBOX but online leagues on the PS2 sound great. Is anyone else going to get the PS2 version instead of the XBOX version?

I'll probably still get it for the XBox and all. I'm not too much of a fan of online play and all; I tend to get picky with who I'm playing against. (Too many Dreamcast nightmare games)

Nevertheless; there is something I'm curious about, and I'm not so sure if it was talked about awhile ago: is this going to be System Link compatible?

I thought about it, decided not to. All the Online Leagues thing does is show me some stats...and if last year's game is any indication, the stats are at the expense of fluid gameplay.

I'll stick with the 'box and XBL.

well...I gotta go with the ps2 verion. I'm running a league, so it's going to be HELLA easier with all the stat tracking.

But, I haven't ruled out getting it on the x as well to play on the 57 inch HD. Damnit....what a waste of money that would be

Guys, dont make this mistake. If you have xbox, get it for that. The game is SOOOOO much better on xbox. The graphics are noticably nicer, and the gameplay is a lot smoother and feels more solid on xbox. My friend has xbox and 2k3, and I absolutely couldnt play 2k3 on ps2 after xbox. Its a whole nother game and I would never get it on ps2 if I could get it for xbox. You will regret it if you do, and its just so you can see a few stats every week? not worth it. if online play itself was exclusive, then maybe I'd consider it.

but it's not just the weekly stats for me...it's the ability to run a whole league with ease. This way, I don't have to set up my own website and keep track of stats myself. The ps2 league does it for me.

Trust me, I REALLY wish the online league stuff was as good on the x, but I think I'm going to have to go with the ps2 version, and it's solely for that reason.
