Could this be a way to derail people from cheating online?

I think the only way to put a FB as a HB and such is if you go to formation subs before each game. There is no way to do it on the depth chart sub screen.

Re: Just bought ESPN and I have a question.....

First, nice pic under your user name.

Second, how could changing a player from ILB to OLB on the
depth chart(ala Madden) be considered cheating online?

I want to move 49ers ILB Ulbrich to OLB and SS Heard to FS.
Greg Thomas said you could do this during a July interview
with operationsports and im unable to do it. Either, theres
a messed up way of doing it or Greg Thomas is a mother
******* liar who doesnt know what a depth chart is.

Either way, im getting pissed off.

I think that last year some people where changing players positions and exploiting it somehow. I thought I read that somewhere.

Maybe in formations like someone said, I have to try that.

Re: Just bought ESPN and I have a question.....

I tried changing Ulbrich and Heard via the substitutions
menu and both went up in ratings from 70 to 72 and from 68
to 75 respectively.

The increase/decrease in ratings is good and realistic(like
Madden) but I want them changed in my depth chart for a few
reasons.

As for online, I personally could care less but if this is
the reason, it makes no sense because people could just sub
in the players they want each game like everyone had to do
with their kick and punt returners in 2k3.

I'm guessing its impossible to change a player's position
on the depth chart, huh? This sucks.

You cant change their position on the depth chart, but you can put them at any postition you want. First, go to the playbooks/substitutions - manage substitutions. There you can sub any player you want for any position in each formation. You have to do it for each formation seperately, but once you do it once your sub changes will be there for any game. All you have to do, once you change the substitutions, is load them (playbook) at the team select screen using the Y button.
