INFO! Frequency of roster updates for Madden/ESPN/Fever/Gameday

EGM and others confirm the following...

Madden - every 2 weeks
NFL Fever - every 2 weeks
Gameday - EVERY WEEK
ESPN NFL - every 3-4 weeks

why can't they all provide updates every week? i understand they can't modify the power numbers of each player each week but maybe just keep the rosters up to date every week and update numbers every 2-3 weeks...

Xbox or PS2?

It will take longer for Xbox since VC has to run EVERY update by MS before it goes up on XBL. Freakin sucks!

oh it is fair to work on next years game but lets face it... with online and weekly roster updates ... thats a KILLER feature.

Thanks for the info. I've been wanting to know that for awhile. Too bad it's bad news.

I completely understand that they need to spend their time working on next year's game.

But come on. Keeping up with 32 rosters is some work, but not really that big of a deal. Granted, constantly monitoring/changing ratings is quite a task, but tracking who's on or off a roster is not. It seems a person could put in an hour, maybe 2, a day and easily keep up with all roster transactions. I don't understand how it can be that time consuming. And it's not a highly skilled task, like programming or making patches. The lowest man on the totem pole at VC could do it.

But I know I shouldn't complain. This game is still the best we've ever had!

DSL or Cable isn't available to me. Does anyone know if there will be any updates on the Xbox demo discs that come with the magazine? I certainly hope so. Go Eagles!!
