Best speed for gameplay: Normal or Fast?

What speed setting is the best to play this game on?

Fast seemed to 'jerky' for me. Everyone changed directions way to quickly dsiplaying minimal/no momentum. 180 degree direction change instantly...

Normal 'flows' a bit better but there is still jerky movement. Having played college ball, I can tell you players don't change direction on a dime like they do in ESPN. Having said that, Normal plays the most realistically of the three options: slow, normal and fast.

The cpu plays better defense on fast. It seemed too easy for me to run on normal.

I agree. I don't really like the player movement on FAST...although I know from lurking these boards, many people seem to enjoy fast, saying that player movement is smoother on fast......I just don't see it. Maybe I'm getting old. But I think NORMAL is the way to go. Thats why they call it "normal"

I had to put it to FAST. Not so much for the action on the field, but it speeds up the game in general. It takes way to long for the CPU to hike the ball on normal speed.....at least for me.

I normally play my sports games on slow because it normally feels less arcady for me. But I love fast mode on ESPN this year. It seems to tighten everything up. Plus you get more plays in so I can keep it at 8 min qrts andget 60 plays per team. And it alose makes defense better like someone else said.

normal here too...just looks and feels about right.

the players look like they are running funny at Fast..IMO and the gameplay does not suffer for ME.
