Re: Sliders are the cause for the bad DB AI
Okay after some more testing last night.
The difficulty and the sliders might relate like this.
I think they are a percentage of the ratings and AI if you use custom sliders. With that said it's very easy to tailor your game to the level that you would like to play.
Here's what I did,
I made every slider 0. It was easy to play defense but on offense I was getting decent runs and passes on the posts weren't money. In fact the one thing I like was that I had just horrible passes.
So with that said, I've made my base sliders. These are just for testing.
All Human sliders 5 (clickes from 0)
All CPU sliders 15
This means that the CPU is getting an advantage. But not as much as it does on legend.
If you like they way legend offense plays but find the CPU AI too good or too dominant, lower all the CPU sliders in equal amount. Just make sure that the human sliders are lower than the CPU sliders to start out with.
Then begin to make adjustments.
What I've been trying to see.
-Lower Rush averages
-Less big plays
-No post/flag cheat
-100-120 plays a game.
If you have the human sliders lower than the CPU sliders it makes it difficult. However if you have the CPU sliders too high like they are on legend, then they have too much of an added advantage and this leads to the CPU getting 250+ yards on the ground of an unrealsitic ground game.
If you leave the sliders super low then the sloppiness of football comes in. Passes won't be deadly accurate for both teams. Runners won't have super human strength to break every tackle. And on the defense side of the ball, football errors come into play. Blown coverages, bad choices.
I'm thinking about making pursuit high for both teams because if you have a 90 speed player getting chased down by a 95 player.
I'll post some stats later on.
