Does the CPU ever DOUBLE COVER your HOT players???

I haven't played enough games to say for sure, but to me it seems the defense pays more attention to hot players. On one drive, I threw two big completions to Plaxico. On 1st down, I came out and was looking for him doing a 10yd curl. There was a player covering him underneath and sort of "shadowing" him to the right - I was able to hit Randal El on a inside post behind Plax.

I'm pretty sure the cpu does adjust to your hot players. The only slightly negative thing I could say about the AI is it's management of timeouts inside two minutes. Other than that, it's great.

It seems you can fool them.
In the 1st quater Owens had 1 catch. I was trying to get the running game going.
Over the next 2 he had 8 more and was relitivly un-coverd.
In the 4th he only had 2 more.
Was mostly double and triple coverd so yes it seems they do.

Yes they do , ive been playing now for several days str8 and yes they do , ive seen T.O. double covered many times when he starts getting the ball thrown his way alot ....so go ahead EA slack a few years ...lol ...although i still like playing Madden , i mean im not going to return it or anything , but they better sit up and take notice

They do in my game. I'm using the Philadelphia Eagles in my frachise current record is 1-1
