Possible good news on DDE

I had a REALLY nice game going as Pittsburgh versus Seattle. Randle-El just returned a punt for a TD to put me ahead 13-0 and I'm on my way to breaking open the game. Then, the dreaded DDE pops up. I'm not happy at this point. So, I just leave the game going (or stopping as the case may be), turn around to read more OS posts. Next thing I know, I heard Peter and Dan. Dude's voice normally annoys me, but I was loving it now. The game RECOVERED FROM A DDE!!!! I finished my game with no problems.

BTW, if this hasn't been answered yet, I didn't get sacked in the game : this is what unlocks Taka Arashi.

I just thought you guys might like to know this. The game CAN recover from a DDE. Just leave it alone for a little bit. Now, online might be a different story...

Oh, I almost forgot, it was within less than a minute, more than 30 seconds I think that it recovered.

I had my 1st DDE online last nite left it in for just under a minute and had to reboot Xbox.I remembered back with the dreamcast that if you lost connection and relogged on within 2-3 minutes i think? you were able to reenter the game you dropped out of and start right were you left off if the other player didnt log out.I found out last nite that Xbox doesnt have that feature go figure?????
