Exporting franchise rosters with Finn's Editor

Using Finn's Editor, is it possible to export the rosters in a franchise to a single roster file?

Yes it is. Right click on the team name and export the team. Find a good roster file (like VC's last 2004 update on my site) and right click and import the team into the file over the old team.

There are a few things to look for:

1. You'll want to go in-game and make sure you have the same number of players on both teams or you'll have extra players or lose some guys.

2. If you copy over on VC's file, you won't have to worry about shared name slots- they are all unique.

3. You'll have to fix the PBP checked boxes. I don't think the import feature takes those into account.

Great! So I am correct in thinking that this is a viable solution to the freeze after the first season in franchise? At the end of year one just export each team, import them to a single roster file then start a new franchise?
