720 P Support?

Can someon explain this to me, over at OS they are making a huge deal out of this.

I don't get it, I remember reading "You can't read the players jersies on ESPN but you can on Madden"

Yes this is true, but what is 720 p? Will it should make the game wide screen?

Do I need a special TV for this?

Damn I'm confused

Re: 720 P Support?

720p is a 720 progressive scan resolution used on HDTV's.

Or something along that lines I believe. I'm not overly concenred w/ it.

Re: 720 P Support?

if you dont know whether your tv supports 720p then most likely it doesnt. Either way its a moot point because ESPN shipped without support for 720p.

1.Look at the manual for your TV

2.720 p will not be available until 2005 comes out so no use in waiting.

From what I understand they are taking the 720p claim off the next shipment of game boxes that ship. 720 p has nothing to do with the size of the TV. Look up the model online to find out if you don't have the manual.
