I'm starting to get a little flustered with the punts from my 30 yd line. What do we have to do to get them to kick a simple 45 yd FG? Raise thier kicking slider?

That may work , I will try that when I get home. I notice that the kicking slider doesn't seem to affect how far the kicks and punts go.

I'm gonna try it also. Whenever the cpu has an opportunity for a FG, I'll raise thier slider to 40 and see if they'll attemp it. Sad thing is tho, that they'd kick a punt at the 30 on the default all-pro settings.

Another thing I'm considering is raising a rating or two for each place kicker before I play them. Just like some ppl raised the steal ratings in WSB. Matter of fact, can you edit players in the franchise mode? Or only in the main menu?

I gotta find a solution to this or it will drive me crazy seeing the cpu miss scoring opportunities like that.

I am not positive, but I don't think you can edit the rosters once you start your Franchise.

Yesterday the 49ers punted from my 25! Even the announcers made fun of them, saying they must not have much faith in their kicker.

It was like the commentary you get when you make a dumb play-call (like going for it on 4th down in your own territory) but it was the CPU that made this dumb decision

Let me know if you find a solution for this, I was wondering if the kicker's ratings are a factor in the CPUs decision.

Just thought I would give this a little bump, because this is driving me crazy also.

Yes, the rating have a DEFINITE impact on this. If you go into situation mode, you can pretty much find the threshhold for each kicker. It's based on their kick power. If it bothers you that much, you should bump up each placekicker's kick power to about 80 or so...

Or, bump up the CPU kick slider.
