I am Impressed with this game !

Like a lot of the other post I've been reading I was pretty much totally into Madden. Now I didn't think somebody was wrong if they didn't like Madden but personally I have just enjoyed Madden more. Especially last year. I rented 2k3 and hated it. This year after seeing some vids and screens of the presentation I figured I'd give it a shot and outright bought the game. At first I had the same feeling as last year, couldn't get the controls and it just didn't feel right. I made a vow though to play it longer without playing Madden in between. After playing throughout the weekend I would have to say I have come away impressed. Once you get the hang of the controls this game is a ton of fun and it feels realistic. It gets a lot of things right. Don't get me wrong I still do like the Madden style of play. Some things better some things worse. But I think both games are strong and a lot of fun. That being said I have been turned to ESPN for my NFL Football gaming. (For this year anyway). Unless Madden picks up on the presentation, ESPN may end up being my new NFL game. I still think NCAA is the best football game out there this year but ESPN has made me a convert to it's game. One thing I will say to anyone who is coming from Madden is to get used to the controls and play for a while without switching back and forth between the two before you make a decision about liking the game. You won't be disappointed. Hopefully Madden will see what's been done with ESPN and try to incorporate some of the excellent features from it. That's my 2 cents.

i came from madden too, ESPN is a blast and i love eveything about it.

Now i only play Madden casue im in a Online leauge for the PC.

(only thing i hate is the fact i cant turn my ESPN up to 1600x1200 resolution on a TV like i can on my PC monitor with Madden) But OH WELL!!!

man, I don't want to be scared during sex....those cheerleaders remind me of the Joker from the first Batman movie, with the seemingly surgically forced smiles. Kinda creepy to me
