ESPN Football is a great game that takes STRATEGY to win. You CAN stop the run it's pretty easy just use the RIGHT defensive plays. You CAN stop the pass this aint Madden don't let the computer play for you switch to your DB and SWAT the ball away if you want go for the interception. I've played people online haven't lost yet and gave up a total of 100 yards in each game i shut down the pass and run so i know you guys don't play too serious u just come here and complain. If you're having a hard time go to PRACTICE mode that's what it's there for. The running game is a little powerful but the thing you guys don't realize is the lineman are the ones creating the running room and making it hard to stop the running backs. As soon as the receiver catches the ball hit him and he'll drop it 50% or the time.

Um this will probably get lock but yea, I agree with you. I'm so sick and tired of people coming on here and whining about little things in this game..damn..get over it!

OTOH....strategy is a very important part of this game.

It is NOT your standard arcade-like pick up and play and win game.

that's what makes it great IMO.

It's not perfect by any means but the strategy invloved and the DEPTH of possible gameplay is as immersive as any I've seen.
