I enjoy the game a lot more now after losing to Fetter 27-24. I was Carolina, he took Cleveland to be nice. The game plays better online IMo because, like me and Fetter talked about, human error can influence the game. Anyway, I realize now, I just need more practice. Btw Nivek, I'll be watching for you online ....

Great game, see you just need to start playing online and forget about all that offline junk. One of the best games I've played so far without a doubt. Enough D to make it realistic and enough scoring to make it fun. We'll have to do it again soon.

My only problem with the game is that defense seems too easy on all-pro. While I'm struggling on offense, I'm just pounding the computer into the ground on defense. Of course, I played a ton of 2k3 so that might be it too, but I shouldn't be holding the saints and seahawks to less than 100 yards a game using 7 min quarters. The computer doesn't seem to pass fast enough--just the opposite problem as last year. They'll sit around for 4 or 5 seconds just holding onto it--by that time, I've pounded him into the ground.

I tried out Nolefan's sliders and someone else's sliders and thought they were good enough. I started a franchise with the Ravens and got slaughtered 63-17 and 49-10. I was ready to give up on the game and then I took some sliders on another board (all-pro with really minor adjustments) and I'm having fun again!

Sliders can be deadly sometimes. The game doesn't have to be 100% realistic and produce 100% realistic stats to be a great game. While that would be best it may not be possible. To tweak sliders constantly in order to achieve that can really mess up things sometimes. As long as the computer gives me a challenge, I'll have fun. Madden forced you into major slider tweaking but I'm just enjoying plain old All-pro. Maybe when I get a lot better and start destroying the computer I will have to change but the broken tackles I see by the computer just make it challenging for me and not frustrating because the games are close.
