Do receivers ever jump for passes?

Now that Im thinking about it I have never seen a receiver jump for a deep ball or jump ball...so my question is have any of you guys seen them jump ,not just raise they re hands but jump, eithe ron offense of CBs on defense.....I read that a guy said in the demo he threw a deep ball and the safety jumped up caught it and landed on his back like falling away...

Also if you go into ratings you ll see guys like R.Moss with a JMP rating in the 70s its starnge but then JJ Stokes has a 90 but T.Owens has like a 75

Yep I also noticed that...when Randy should easily have a 90s rating Im sure his verticle in real life is probally around 37 inches which is damn good.

Re: Do receivers ever jump for passes?

I play with the Vikings in my franchise and I've seen Moss jump once in 14 games to catch a pass on a slant over the middle. He was on the run and I guess it was more of a leap than a straight jump. It was a very nice animation though, very realistic. Wish I'd get to see it more.

I've seen recievers and CBs just straight up to catch a pass!! try controlling your reciever and moving him towards the pass instead of running down field, if the ball is over his head, he will jump for it.
