Ahhh....the infamous "crowd waving blitzer". What people would do is put their LB on the line and have him do the pump up the crowd motion. The player couldn't move when he pumped up the crowd, but the pump up the crowd animation would stop when the ball was snapped. People used this bug to get an incredible jump on the ball and get an easy tackle in the backfield.

How does that give you an incredible jump on the ball? I don't know how this helps to "cheat".

You could push against the line of scrimage since the player would not move during his animation so he could be right up on the line with the stick pushed back...when the ball snapped he'd be gone in an instant into the backfield.
