How do I edit incoming rookies?

I went to the Rookie Scouting bit under Front Office and I couldn't figure out how to actually edit them. Can I only do it at the draft? I even simmed ahead to the combine and still couldn't do it. Someone help! Thanks.

You can edit rookies anytime between week 8(I think it's 8) through the draft. You can even edit rookies who are still available during the draft. You do this by going to Rookie Scouting. Then click on Rookie Report. There you'll find the list of rookies. Then just choose a rookie and press A. A screen will pop up that asks if you want to edit that player. Choose yes.

It's that simple.

Uh oh,
that didn't work when I tried it. Come to think of it, I better check to make sure I have "edit rookies" on in franchise options. If thats the case I feel like an idiot.
