Yesterday I made an exchange for the PS2 version. The EB guy had no problems with the swap, I used the excuse that XBOX did'nt support 720p like I thought. Even though that was not the reason.

I was getting tired of the XBOX controller... that was it. I could not move well or throw well. their pressure system was just not very good at all IMO. I gave it a chance, playing Madden & ESPN for more than a month, but it was not cutting it.

Overall, the graphics are actually not very different on HD & off. XBOX is the better system in terms of Graphics & Loadtimes of course, but the controller issue needs some fine tuning. I recieved the roster update for free & immediatly had a smoother time throwing bullet and lob passes and the black & white buttons are out of my life forever. For some reason tackling was easier as well...must be that I am used to my native controller pressure.

either way, I'm happy with the game, just as comfortable as ever with PS2.
BTW, the online setup is awesome. I can't wait to join a league.

I am thinking of buying a Ps2 this weekend for my basement should I go with that PS2 version... whats the major difference...

why buy a ps2 now when the new one will be out soon.....if you do get one go to best buy.....when I got my XBOX they said if I get the extended service plan I can trade in my old xbox for the new one when it comes out.....just a thought

PS It took a while but I actually got used to using the black/white buttons along with the right stick.....its not too bad actually

The new Playstation and Xbox won't be out 'til 2005. I don't get your point.

And yes, using the black and white buttons on the Xbox is HORRIBLE. I traded in my Xbox version for the PS2 version a few days ago and couldn't be happier.

All I was saying is wait till the new PSwhatever somes out...I am sure you will be able to play all the PS2 games on it....I didnt say not to get one just to wait.

Damn......

Waste 200 bucks now and then blow another 300 then......i wish i had those finances...

You can buy a pre-owned PS2 at Gamestop for $99. Who would want to wait until 2005 to play a game released in 2003? I'm not trying to be a d*ck, but that doesn't make much sense.
