Why does ESPN let you edit rookies...

and then only let you edit about 25 names before you get the "there is no more space to edit any more names" message. I mean why can't you edit ALL the names. What difference should it make if the best QB on the board is Bill Smith or Phillip Rivers? It's not like you're actually adding a name, basically you're just changing the letters around. I don't get it.

so there is a maximum of 25 per season?

and if the name is already in the database, do you still have to rewrite it like last year.

Only lets me edit 5 players before getting that message. Really sad thing is the next season it won't let you edit any rookies.

Personally, I only need to edit a few roookies in my first season anyway, and I won't even need to do that until early-late October, when the suprise rookies in the NFL make themselves known.

I don't know how many exactly it will let you edit...I'm estimating on the 25 number. It might have been 18, but it was certainly not enough for this feature to be in the game. Either we can edit the rookies or we can't. Does anyone know what affects the limits of this?

Hmm. Is that the PS2 or Xbox? On my PS2 version it lets me edit the incoming rookies for the next season
