I really don't see what the big deal is about "owner mode".

How can you guys be serious? If ESPN had Madden's owner mode and Madden had ESPN's franchise mode, you would all be praising ESPN for such an indepth aspect of the game. You are all just brainwashed into this "Religion" that blacks you out from the fact that some things in Madden are better.

I admit the franchise/owner mode is good but it gets "old" after a few seasons. Its like anything new, your so happy you got it but after awhile it ends up collecting dust....

I really don't care for the financial portion of the owners mode. Who cares how much money I generate via setting hot dog prices and parking rates. However, I do like the fact that you can relocate teams and hire a coaching staff. Other than those two features, I really don't care for it.

I am not sure about this, but I think profits is very helpful when you are almost out from salary cap, then you can just use the sign on bonus to persuade player to sign in your team. Sign on bonus will be taken from your profits. I am not sure though.

You might not care for it and that's cool but others do like the mode a lot. Remember EA and Sega can't please everybody so they try and include enough for most.
