Does a holding penaly subtract rushing yards?

This was brought up in the silders thread but i didnt see it get resolved. I and another player noticed that when our RB's ran for a yard or so on a carry and there was an Off holding penalty on that play, the penalty yards were subtracted from our RBs stats . So in my case my RB had -10 yards for the day (it was his first carry).

Now i thought this was a bug but then i noticed how they said when JHamal lewis had a 63 yard td run they inly credited him 48 since there was a holding call on the play.

So is ESPN correct?

I dont think that it SHOULD subtract rusging yards. Seems to be a glitch......

Yes Medway, it does subtract penalty yards from rushing

totals. I've seen this more times than I care to

remember

Well, not enough holding is called in this game on normal settings to have a big impact. I suppose I'll lower it even further to get holding calls completely out of there. No excuse for this, but it is still minor.

Just crank up some of the other offensive penalties, which are a bit low anyways, this should offset it some if you want more offensive penalties.
