My roomie Cheated!!

Well...in our 2 man Franchise, my roomie has pulled one I think is the CHEESIEST of plays.

He's the Titans, I'm the Vikes.

I went to work a few days ago...and lo and behold..came back home around 5 to find my roomie chilling.

I asked him how he was liking the game (he WAS a die hard EA gamer...he's been converted ).

Well he tells me, "it's awesome...I've got the best team on the planet now."

I go, "really?? you make some trades??"

He goes, "yeah..a few"

Ok...his new team goes a little something like this.....

Mike Vick at QB
LaDanian Tomlinson at RB
Plaxico Burress and Donte Stallworth at WR

His starting D line is Jevon Kearse, Julius Peppers, Jamal Williams, and Albert Haynesworth

He got Ray Lewis at LB and his corners are Mike McKenzie and Charles Woodson!!!

I'm like..."How the hell did you get all of these guys??!!"

He goes, "I just started trading."

Yeah..he traded all right.

"What he did was raid the Free Agent pool of EVERY SINGLE PLAYER RATED ABOVE a 70!"

He would then sign the free agent, then trade them away for a better player. He did this over, and over, and over, and over.

My email said there were 27 trades made by the Titans!!!!

Anyway...I let it slide since this was our first franchise, but man....that was cheesy.


On a side note...I picked up Charles Rogers as my #2 receiver behind Randy Moss....VERY nice duo at WR now.

And Onterrio Smith is a GOD at RB...he's leading the league in rushing because that wuss Michael Bennett has been hurt TWICE for a combined 11 weeks (only touched the ball 10 times this season).

on a side note...it's impossible to dump Culpepper or Moss.

Most teams don't want to fork over 10 mill a year for a player.

Go figure.

I played against Onterrio and Stallworth in High School. Smith was GOD back then too. Hope he excells in the NFL.

I almost traded Onterrio to try and shore up my defenisve line (needed some ends...picked up Darren Howard and Andre Carter).

Good thing I kept him around. Michael Bennett touched the ball 4 times in the first game...got hurt for 4 weeks...came back....touched it 6 more times....got hurt for 7 weeks.

What a wimp. Onterrio is probably gonna be my starter next year. I'll trade Michael Bennett's fragile butt!

On a side note...I'm gonna have to make a rule for our next franchise that you CANNOT use the Free Agent pool as basically a "virtual brothel"...pimping out free agents for draft picks and superstars.

My roomie is a virtual football pimp.

I wouldn't be too happy with my roomate. seems kinda like he is taking advantage of the system. it should hit hard when you guys play eachother.

in week 5 Bennett tore his ACL and was out for the year. So I put Smith in and he ended up winning Rookie of the year.

id restart the season, that is really really cheap IMO.

Sounds like he sucks at the game and wanted the best players so he could win.
