So I'm reading through the "email" in my Pats franchise and I see the trade watch, or whatever. Open it up and it says that the 49ers traded Jeff Garcia to the 'boys for DT La'roi Glover. Glover had been on the block for a couple of weeks but the niners trading Garcia? Just seems weird to me.

Well they do have Rick Mirer now... maybe they felt that spending an extra 4.7 mil on another quarterback was too much for them, so they traded him, and kept young Mirer to lead the Niners.

LMAO at Rick Mirer. I like the idea of the CPU to CPY trades, but the AI needs to be a lot better than that. Thankfully this doesn't happen often.

Yeah, I was a little confused there...Tim Rattay is Garcia's backup.

(Coincidentally I would rather have him than Mirer, but oh well)

My bad... I just remember seeing him in pre-season... actually, they were playing against the Raiders then.
