Look into having another 1 0n 1 interview with someone at VC in regards to a couple of issues and see if they will be addressed this yr or next?
1-Online Divergences (more frequant than last yr why?)
2-Running backs unlimited speed burst/break tackles for 200+yrds per game (and can it be fixed in a patch this yr?)
3-Why Rosters are not playable online again was a big issue with 2k3 (and can it be fixed in a mandatory patch this yr?)

Please try and do this interview and see how they feel about thier game since its release and any issues they may not like and address with patches this yr or in 2k5.

Sorry Kgun with Online play nothing can be adjusted with roster or sliders!
And playing defense has nothing to do with J.Bettis breaking 3 tackles and speed bursting 65yrds(with an 80 speed rating)and my secondary (with a 90+ speed rating) not being able to close on him and make a tackle!

#2 can be fixed by learning how to call the right plays on defense.

I notice only the people that want to try to make every play are the one's with problems. The guys I play online that have trouble are the one's swapping all over the place to the player that can make the immediate play. I tend to stay as one player that will be the "cleanup" man depending on the play. If the play requires me to be the guy to force the play, then I sacrifice myself to the runner or the blocker so that I free up my teammates to make a tackle. You know - real football.

For example. I play middle linebacker. On runs to the outside, I don't swap, I stay as that man, run him COMPLETELY laterally until I am just about even with the runner and I have a lane. I'm stringing out the play. Like in real life. If I have a lane and he's attacking, I meet him in that lane. By that time, the free player you WOULD have swapped into is on his way. If he breaks my tackle (we'll get to later), then that teammate will be there to cleanup. If some get to him before me, then I'll be the one to put the runner down. For me it's football instinct and I can understand the desire for most people to feel the need to be the "man making the play". They don't realize that making the play can also mean taking out a blocker. But smart. I think most people are over-aggressive in play video game defense.
