I never played the espn football jumpoff this year and I just wamted to know, for the ps2 version can you use a microphone to play online and talk like you can in madden for the ps2. If so can you mute your microphone any when you want to talk on the phone or something like that ?

Yes, you can use the microphone.

No, I don't believe there is a "mute" function. At least I haven't found it yet.

1. sure you can use a headset, but it's like $50 though.
2. Yes there is an option for this. Just place your headset on the floor, answer the phone & say "Sup, listen b*tch, I'm playin' ESPN online right now ." Then hang up the phone and put your headset back on.

No listen cause in madden you can press the L3 button and it "mutes" the microphone then you can press it again and then it un "mutes" it. The other reason I asked the ? was because I wanted to know is there voice chat for espn videogames for the ps2 cause I wanted to get Espn Nba Basketball.

Actually, in Madden it's the R3. And there is no similar function in ESPN Football.
