I just bought an HDTV and the first thing I did was pop in ESPN last night. Right of hand I noticed textures and details that were non-existant on the non-HDTV.

As I remember there were issues concerning the 720i unfortunatley I didn't pay any attention to the threads as at the time they didn't pertain to me.

Sorry to bring this back up, Hell, I guess I can do a search..............

there is no 720p, or 720i for that matter, the only thing you can do is get good ol' 480p
it's a bummer for all us HDtv owners, but what can you do

I have a question... for the PS2 version, to play 480p, do your PS2 settings have to be on a 16:9 video resolution, or can it be on 4:3? Or which ones does it have to be on?
