Sounds like a good idea. The kickers and the RBs.

But one thing I need to figure out before I do all of the running backs is what about the Running or Blocking slider? Can we put those on default al star or raise it or lower it depending on the ratings.

I know my blocking slider is already at default all star and my running slider is at 16. so raising it to default with the edited RBs should be alright. Also, do we have to edit second and third stringers.

Thanks again, I'm defeitnetly gonna do the Kicker one.

Thanks guy's

No I don't have Action replay or Xbox live. I only bought an Xbox to play All-Star baseball because 3do ruined HH... After reading reviews on ESPN, I decided I had to try it.. I am really glad I did.

We have worked on Madden 2k4 ( PC ) until are brains fried. I just can't seem to get into it as much as 2k3 although most seem to like it better. Maybe after the patch, but I don't know.

ESPN fascinates me.

We are currently working on studies to see exactly how much each slider affects each setting.. The one thing that makes this nice is the ability to have practice mode. We set a slider and a rating and then run a series of the same plays that might effect that players rating over and over. Then we change it to the Max extreme, take notes. Then to the minimum extreme and see what the differences are.

It is a long process but in a way it is quite fun because in this game ( not like Madden ) Sliders and ratings do effect players performances.

As of now the guys are testing to see if the Sliders effect CPU vs. CPU games, We want to see if human sliders effect human owned teams even though they are controlled by the CPU. Or if only the CPU sliders control both teams or if they are effected at all.

Also want to know for sure if Sliders have any effect on SIM games or if Sims are ran by an internal engine. We do know without doubt that some sliders and settings effect simmed games.

Will keep you posted if anyone is interested.

Good stuff man! Keep us posted!!

About editing the rookies, it seems to me you would have to edit the rookies BEFORE the draft. Otherwise, the CPU teams would look at their present kicker, see he has an accuracy rating only in the 30's, decide that he sucks, then draft a new kicker with higher ratings. At least that's how I think it should work. Same for the running backs, but to a lesser extent, because you're not changing their ratings as drastically.

I bet none of you have ever seen a miss. I Lowered all FG kickers KICK ACC numbers drastically. I studied this by going to practice mode and letting the cpu kick 20, 30, and 40 yd Fg's

I kept adjusting the numbers until they started to miss now and then. Wide right and left. To make a long story short, The best kicker in the league now has a 41 for kick acc.. The worst is a 31.

Sup CC,hey listen man...on this "quote"As far as FG'how far down do you adjust the acc ie.10,15,20,notches??
do you lower each kickers acc the same...lets say Vanderjacht(SP) ie 83 and Vinatieri is 85, do you lower both by say...15 or do you lower them by separate #s ie. VAN -15 VIN - 20?? I don't know what i just said!! lol
