All time Greats Franchise
I took the all-time greats file from Koshi (on my site) and started a franchise with it, including a fantasy draft. I began by replacing a bunch of the really old guys I didn't recognize with some newer stars. I chose the hometown Lions for my team, but there are very few Lions on it. I don't have the draft sheet right in front of me (I'll post it later), but I knew what sort of team I wanted: Hard nosed running team with a tough defense. I started with HB Earl Campbell. Can't go wrong with a bull like that. Highlights of my draft include QB Randal Cunningham (wanted a scrambler) and the Chicago LB tandem of Mike Singletary and Brian Urlacher. Somehow, I managed to land Neon Deion Sanders too and he has been really valuable. One odd pick-up that has turned out to be golden is DE Lyle Alzado. He managed Player of the Game honors in week one with 2 sacks, a forced fumble and another fumble recovery for a TD.
Thus far, I'm 3-0, although I won week 3 13-10 against a Joe Montana led Browns team. Dutch CLark was the real star of that game (for the Browns). If if weren't for Cunningham scrambling, I would have been buried.
Anyway, I'll try to keep y'all posted as I progress.
