Very, very interesting. Do you know if there was any success with online?

Not that i know of for online play. You can do franchises and whatnot no problem though, just use the savestates because of the instability in the menus. Unfortunately the newer rosters lag in simulating weeks, just like on the consoles.

Needless to say, I haven't touched Madden this year...

Really wish it was moddable; the stadiums look soo outdated, which of course they are. But also the uniforms need modding.

I really don't see the point in playing on the PC for those reasons, but to each their own.

Videos don't do it justice tbh, it looks infinitely better than playing it on the PS2

Meaning when you simulate, it slows down between weeks? But the in-game play is still playable with custom rosters, correct?

2500k with a gtx 670 16 gigs of ram. But overclocking the processor is what makes the game run well. If I don't OC the game will lag, i'd be curious to hear results with other processors to be honest.

Even before overclocking, that's a monstrous card and tons of RAM. If you're saying this is probably the minimum to make it run well, not worth the investment. That's a $300-400 card alone.

Isn't that just a ps2 emulator? Technically your playing it on pc but really it's ps2? Idk, cool tho.

It ran exactly the same using a gtx 260 and 8 gigs of ram with the same processor. It's processor dependant, if i try and play without overclocking the processor, it runs in slow motion.

Yes it's an emulator, but it allows you to upscale the graphics significantly. Just posting this to show the game can be run well, it's one of the few games that doesn't run flawlessly on the emulator.

Also, once playing the game, I haven't had it crash yet. But it is unstable at points in the menus.

Seems like the bottom line is to have an upper end cpu to accomplish this. If you don't already have this, I think the money would be better spent on a special Xbox 1 and peripherals. I'm sort of sorry I traded those away now a few years ago. But good to hear this is a solution for PC owners. Just be careful about emu / iso talk around here.
