Chris McCalister makes a beautiful interception at midfield and has room to run it to the house. He is at the ten and the REFEREE gets into McCalister's way and gets knocked out of bounds.

no but it prevented a catch for the computer in the super bowl at the 20 that would have given them a first down at the very least. i thought that was realistic and cooooooool.

of course, i may have felt it was bad programming if it was against me.

THat is still pretty realistic though because in thge real game refrees accidentally get in the way all the time.

once on a running play an AI player was closing in on me but collided with the ref! It resulted into an 80-yard td instead of a 30-yard run.

In a league game last week I was headed for the endzone and the damn ref was running in front of me. There was a defender left that I was going to try to put a move on but there's a good chance he'd bring me down. Anyway, I just keep running right at the ref and when I got to him he sidestepped out of my way and right in the way of that last defender clearing a nice big lane for me.
