Multiple Hot Routes

I understand Hot Routes, and I use them quite a bit. But why is there an option to turn multiple Hot Routes on or off? Is there a disadvantage to using multiple Hot Routes?

Not really a disadvantage to multiple hotroutes, other than I don't really wanna play someone online who's gonna come up to the line and hot route every guy around all day and create a play like he's Payton Manning.

Multiple hot routes means you can change more than 1 recievers route. If it's off, you can only change 1 recievers route.

I think you should only be able to hot route one man

Multiple hot routes can be a major advantage for the player on offense if you come across a person who can read defenses well and learns to choose a "dummy play" early to give him/her enough time left on the play clock to make adjustments. In this case you better have set up good defensive audibles to counter whatever is being adjusted on offense, or else you're in trouble.

For all intents and purposes..."Multiple hot route" is a praised addition and should be a mainstay for the series. But I do understand if an over-eagered player (and non-disciplined at that) competes you in this sporadic attempt... on-line--I can see where the experience can be hampered. Like Kruza said, and I reitrate..."Observe his M.O., and adapt to it...defensively" could only be how to shut him down.

What's wrong with that? You don't know what play they're going to pick so it wouldn't make a difference if they changed it or not.
