Happened to be at the local Gamestop yesterday digging through the used games when the manager mentioned that next year's ESPN football title would be using the USB headset to audiable the offense, assign hot routes to receivers, and make defensive shifts. Can't say its just a huge selling point, for me, as I would feel pretty stupid sitting in the living room talking to my game console, but I thought it was interesting and something to discuss during a time of year when the football gaming landscape is pretty barren.

Same here. Once when playing Rainbow Six, she actually told me after I said, "open and clear," "why don't you go open and clear the garage?"

That would be cool as all hell in First Person Football. I hope this is true.

I agree this would be a great Option...But you knwo what, People will say it's not good cause Other games have done it....So I dunno..I want that option though

The first person mode is where it makes the most sense, and would be VERY cool.

I am in the majority opinion here too. It would be an interesting EXTRA to play around with, but I would hate to see precious development time being depleted to get it in there. Much, much bigger fish to fry for NFL2k5. I have to do the majority of my gaming when people are asleep. Shouting audibles at my Xbox at 12:30am would not gain me any friends at home!
