so there is nothing wrong with a physics engine that allows every player to turn 180* on a dime, ...on one foot even!!?
and theres not a problem when warrick dunn is able to plow through linebackers and safeties?
there is hardly any momentum in this game at all, playaction plays are not as effective as they could be, since its so simple to just flip the other direction once you notice the fake.
now, im not saying madden has made it perfect up to this point either, they seem to have a bit too much momentum to the point where TE's can juke out defensive backs. but in the end, i think id rather take maddens exaggerated momentum over the near non-existent momentum of ESPN.
Actually the problem in ESPN ISN'T Momentum. Like Wwharton Said, they've added momentum every year. What you are getting at is MOVEMENT and TRANSITIONS (turning on a dime). Both of which sound like Animation issues not momentum. The momentum in the game is fine, movement and transitions need additions. These 2 elements CAN be HUGE in ESPN I think. If they work on movement and adding transitions, there will be no more zig zagging with the RB's, but you'll still have that same fluid feel to running without having very stiff momentum, like you want them to add.
