I'm probably the only person here that wasn't that impressed with the screenshot. Looks very foggy to me.

Re: FIRST ESPN NFL 2K5 PICTURE!!!

Its a nice screenshot but it doesn't look amazing to me. I see more detail in the arms and the ball which is nice but its not really as shocking to me as everyone is saying it is to them. Definatly still early so I cant wait to see what its going to look like in the coming months. I think VC is going to show us something real nice in the coming weeks.

I'm happy with it i think some player scaling would make this the best looking football game ever.

u can actually see the difference in size here

Re: FIRST ESPN NFL 2K5 PICTURE!!!

My biggest problems with ESPN's player models are...

-The short arms make them look out of proportion.
-The waists' are not broad enough.
-The jersey doesn't hang down and look loose at all.

Here's a pic of how the waists', jerseys, arms should be

Re: FIRST ESPN NFL 2K5 PICTURE!!!

can someone tell me what exactly is so "AMAZING" about that shot??

the detail on the hands and arms is cool, but all their arms are the same size, and they all have the same features.

the ball is different and its good that it actually has a shine on it now, but its still the wrong color... and just plain weird looking.

am i missing some "AMAZING" feature, because surely the two i mentioned arent AMAZING.

yeah it looks good.

I like the details in the arms (dam those Olinemen are ripped...I thought ephedrine was banned) and the wrinkles in the unis. I do hope theres some better body scaling later though..longer arms and less of a box-body look.

Can't wait to see what's been done with the player editor. Should be alot deeper than 2k4's.

I think what we are seeing is the original "basic" graphics setup. Emagine the final build probably looking 3 times better than that!.....Especially in motion!

Oh I still have hope they'll improve. I mean, I like the new detail but the overall scaling/shape/proportions of the player seem off right now and thats usually somethin remains through to the final build.

I need to see some more screens because right now on this build...I'm willing to bet that 44 yr old Chiefs Kicker, Morton Andersen, is built exactly the same as Palmer is in that screenshot and that shouldn't be. If anybody has seen the real Morten Anderson then you know that shouldn't be the case.

That's the problem I have with the player models...short arms, Box-shaped bodies and generic builds/physiques. Thats something I was hoping they would improve these issues for 2k5 but so far it doesn't seem they have.

I'm really Looking forward to more screens and hopefully some movies....especially movies. Thats where the real party is at, fellas.
