I doubt it's a system. There is no room in the market for 4 systems.

LOL! That's funny. I've always rooted for SEGA. I even owned a Master System when 99% of the population had a Nintendo.

But based on the snippets of info posted here, it really seems like it WON'T be a game at all. A Sega/Microsoft merger would be niiice. Maybe Sega will announce that ALL their games will be designed with the XBOX architecture.

I think your guess is right. I think the announcement will be that all Sega sports games will be made using the Xbox capabilities over PS2. I think that they would be the first 3rd party group to actually do that.

(No I don't count games originally released for the Box then ported over)

Yep.

They might be looking to make one next yr on nfl2k5's Xbox-built engine which would be incredible both graphically and gameplay-wise. Man...can you imagine the Weekly Prep feature mixed in with some of the Dynasty Features from ESPN CH like yr round recruitng, ability to play high school games,ect PLUS First Person College Football....all packaged in stellar ESPN presentation? I know I'd buy it.
