I'm pretty sure both companies have "blown their loads" on their football games and now just waiting on E3 to expand on the features. There might a few surprises here and there, but nothing big.

You're kidding, right? EA/Madden is so in-front of Sega/2K_ series is because people are used to EA and when something different comes along *GASP*, it hurts them that they might be getting something better. People are used to Madden. They love being fed the game with tick-tack improvements each year and apparently that's their opinion.

I think EA is just really waiting for the new systems to come and then they will change there engine, for now we are stuck, oh well.
