Sega announced a brand new Phantasy Star game today. it's either an mmorpg or an update to the original series. Not enough details yet.

WHats with everybody thinking it's Matrix? That was announced before the show even started and Sega is only distributing the game. Phantasy Star came out of nowhere.

The Matrix info wasn't leaked. It was released in an official press release Monday by Sega and it had banners for the game all over the E3 convention center on Monday. Check the date at the link below. Monday May 10th. I don't know why everybody thinks the info was leaked and that this was the secret.

Sega opened up their booth with the matrix online announcement. Only later on when we went back to the area did i notice they were showing the new PSO.

In any case, i didnt have a chance to see either presentation

yes i have insomnia. it is now 3:45 PST
