Any word on 720p Support?

Have any of you guys who attended E3 heard if VC plans to implement 720p this year in ESPN Football? Last year it was implemented, but yanked at the last second before release (if I'm not mistaken, even the OXM demo had 720p support). I am all for 720p as long as it doesn't adversly affect the frame rate.

Thanks Bacardi,

I am on the verge of making an HDTV purchase. If I go with the Mitsu I won't have 720p, but if I go with the Hitachi I will be able to convert the signal to 1080i. Decisions decisions .

can't blame them on that...the high framerate has to be harder to support....ESPN MLB has little waves in it from time to time b/c of the attempted 720p support...not a big deal to me, but people whine

any info on how many seconds are left on the clock when coming out of the huddle? can you set this yourself? how is the accelerated clock during the last 2 minutes of halfs and games?

could this mean i can play 15 minute quarters realistically?
