Over-sensitive Madden fans....

Couldn't WAIT to jump on a brotha' for leaving the "clone-army"! They're like the Borg, chasing down 7 of 9...

Forget those guys, man...Congratulations on giving ESPN a chance...The more you play, of course you'll find things that you don't like, or would like to see improved, but guess what? You'll also see more and more great things, like a REAL tackling engine...Keep at it

I absolutely LOVE THE TACKLING ENGINE!!! It's off the chain. Still trying to work some of my "madden mannerisms" out. Unfortunately, my copy I rented didn't come with the freakin' manual, so I'm still learnin some of the controls. The graphics are better than Tiburons. The CPU seems to play honest unlike Madden. For the first time in 7 years, I'm actually playing and ENJOYING the one player modes. I can't wait to get off work so I can play more. The only gripes I have so far are the crazy broken tackles (good, but a little too much) and the funky running animations. Other than that (so far), I'm really enjoying the game.

try using some sliders posted on the slider thread. They are a MUST! otherwise the RB will be too hard to stop (both sides).
Before i was the best of the league on running and the worst stoping it. Now is more even.

i agree with you the engine is way better than madden. There was a 3down an 2yds and the RB was being tackling just inches before the 1 down....and i came with the LB and PUM! tackle and pushed it back and 4down.-
That is a good thing that madden don´t have.

But then, liked you say the Funky running is sooo anoying...sometimes i love this game and sometimes i can´t understand why i´m playing it
