Flaming the messenger

Regardless of the guy's motives for calling or not calling or impersonating or lying or whatnot, he may be the most hardcore of all -or just has more free time, it seems completely hypocritical to flame him for doing some detective work. The fact that all these established posters are still wasting their time to bash him tells me that they're just as obsessed as he is - but grumpier and a little bored with video games. Maybe there's a little envy? The detective may not be worthy of praise, but humored indifference seems the most negative feeling possible toward him unless someone's got an agenda. I don't come here often but I got the ****** tingles reading those threads, and the messenger embarassed himself the least.
