CPU field goal kicking issue

I know a lot of the issues have been discussed. However, is there improvement in the CPU kicking dept? In other words, does the kicker still punt when they are at the 30 or 35 yrd line or do they actually attempt a field goal?

I hated when it did that last year.

Hey Darth!

I am not sure if this has been fixed but I can relate to your issue. I too would like to see the CPU who has a kicker rated in the 90's, attempt and occasionally make those 50+ yard field goals. Along the same lines though, I do like the fact that the CPU will occsionally surprise you by going for it in situations where you thought they would punt! I have had to use a timeout to get the right players out there because I just automatcially hit Punt Return as my play call, before he calls his. Boom! He calls a pass play! SURPRISE! This is good stuff and I hope these surprises keep us on our toes when we are playing the CPU in 2k5!

Yeah, I hope they fixed the CPU never missing a FG. If the CPU is driving for a winning FG and they get inside the 40, the best stategy is to let them score to leave yourself time. That is BS.
