I like the QB dropback and don't think its cheating. A QB in the NFL doesn't even have to think about his drop in a play because its so natural. Same for those that allow the CPU to drop back for you to the appropriate depth. Its reading the defense that is the key. Just my opinion.

The QB automatic dropback actually benefits me when I'm playing. It allows me to look more directly at the WRs routes instead of concentrating on my dropback. For example, on a quick slant pass, I can time the route quicker by looking at the reciever and his coverage better than looking at my dropback and then looking at the reciever.

The reason why ppl who play Madden dropback 20 yards is because they're looking at the recievers route while droping back at the same time. Since Madden does'nt have an automatic dropback, its hard to focus your attention on just one of the things. The recievers route or the QBs dropback.

Maybe cheating isn't the right word.. I just don't feel like
I'm really controlling the QB unless I'm working him right from
the snap of the ball.
