I was just wondering what exactly will be different if about the game if you have the hard drive with the ps2 version of the game. I read in a preview somewhere that ps2 owners will get more from the game if they have the hard drive. Will we be able to use custom music if we have the hard drive?

The only difference I know of for sure is that you'll get video highlights of your game with the HD, but still screenshot highlights without it.

Video Highlights??? Please explain more! Do you mean they will show ACTUAL gameplay footage in some sort of post game feature??

I think you actually get halftime videos of your actual game and maybe postgame stuff. The videos will make it into the weekly wrap up show that Berman does during the franchise.

Yes, highlights at halftime and I believe postgame. There are also a weekly wrap-up, with highlights from all of the games of the week. It'll be awesome.

The closest thing that Madden will have is some sort of postgame Monday morning-type call in radio show. I've heard it will discuss details about your franchise, and will have actual NFL Coaches voices in the radio call-in show. Might be a cool feature, but I dont think its gonna touch ESPN's halftime and weekly wrap-up shows you guys just described. The only thing that sucks is I only have PS2, and that HD is something like $89.00!!! Im pissed about that. Us Ps2 owners gettin the shaft

I got a PS2 hard drive. I just read somewhere that the highlights show will be nothing but screenshots and the XBOX players get actual game footage. I'll stick to the XBOX version.
