Only X-Box for me... I don't own or want a PS2... I just bought a new Gamecube to play Resident Evil:0, Remake, and 4 when it is released.

For ESPN...the Xbox is a no-brainer.

I'll be getting NCAA on the PS2 though.

xbox or ps2 lol thats a joke the only reason i can say someone picks this up for the ps2 is because you don't have broadband or you are to lazy to switch ova to a xbox controller.

The PS2 version is gonna be a slightly stripped down version. I guess it's not that bad if you're only paying $20 though.

Xbox Live has multiple packages. For $70 you get the headset, a year of Live and MechAssault, for $40 you get the headset, 3 months of Live and MechAssault, the renewal rate is $50 a year.

If you did get an Xbox, all you would need is the Xbox, a Live starter kit and however many extra controllers you want. You don't need memory cards.

I'd recommend getting an Xbox, but I'm not sure I'd recommend getting rid of your PS2. I will say you should get an Xbox over the PS2 HD, and if you're mainly into sports games (judging by what you listed) then the Xbox is really all you need.

XBOX all the way bro. LIVE gaming has no equal right now, period. It is a blast with little to no lag problems etc...
Better graphics, 5.1 surround, HD built in, 4 player gaming built in etc.... and HALO2!
