it might not sub since your veterans moral will go down if they dont start. Maybe they will but maybe they wont automatic sub because it affects the game and that would take control away from the player. But maybe they will have 2nd and 3rd string sub like basketball has starter,3pointer,bench etc

Umm, do you even watch the NFL? Why would a veteran's morale go down if they don't "start" the next half? This happens always in the pre-season. Sometimes vets only play the first quarter.

Agreed. If you played most veterans more than a half in the pre-season, you'd have the player and his agent all over your a**

Here's hoping that VC adds this this year..

Yeah, they had that in like 2k2. I hope there is a way to see it in number based statistics. Otherwise it will be hard to tell exactly how good they are compared to someone else

they show on green bar the overall, but at the same time u got the numbers, u can view on both ways. just press a button for a switch.

anyway, i really hope they at least subs the cpu teams, i mean, is pointless to play the veterans for 4 straigh games they won`t progress and they could get hurt.
also it will add more depth to the preseason since if the Cpu don`t subs, is pointless. IMO

I know. I love the overall look of the screen and how it looks different and better than 2k4's Depth Chart Screen, but I need actual NUMBERS telling me who is rated higher. Too much guess work has to be done comparing the length of one bar to another just to see who has the higher rating. I would not mind so much having both. Maybe have the numbers at the end of the bars.
